KAMA – Men Ministry

One family for Christ

ROFILE

KAMA ACK ST LUKES UMOJA

KAMA has been in existence since the inception of the church in the year 2001. Then it existed only in name as for about 9 years, nothing tangible could be seen. The Chairman then was Mr. David Gitonga (now Rev Gitonga); secretary was Mr. Lawrence Waithaka (now Rev. Waithaka) and the Treasurer was Mr. Marshal Okal (now Rev Okal).

In November 2010, the late Rev Dr. Humphrey Muraguri was transferred and his place taken by Ven. Anzaya. During the AGM of 2011, Lay reader Elly Odipo was elected Chairman; Mr. David Maloba was elected secretary and Mr. Charles Macharia treasurer. Macharia later in the year relocated to Ruiru and was replaced by Mr. Isaac Bari. At least formal meetings started and KAMA started paying the Diocesan quota and not the church as hitherto had been the case.
